Then Sings My Soul

This week would have been the due date for our first miscarried baby. August 18, 2010. This is my song for the week. Though I faced unspeakable loss and sadness, He came to my rescue and brought me to where He was. It was worth it all and always will be.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
May you find peace in His arms this week as you rest there.

Sister, I have been where you are. I have two sons who are the result of unanswered prayers. I prayed twice that God would save my unborn child . . . He did not. Instead, He gave me two wonderful, perfect, boys who would not be here if my prayers had been answered. Only God knows your pain . . . and only He can heal it. Rest assured, He loves you . . . He bottles each tear. Rest in His loving arms . . . there is no greater place to be.
Sending, love, hugs, and prayers,
Cherie

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have not lost a baby myself, but I did almost loose my daughter last Sept and came away with a brain injured child. So, I do understand the pain of loss. I pray this week that He comforts you and you trust His ultimate plan for your life.

I stopped by to ask you where your homeschool blog is and answer your questions. Helping Habits are just our positive label for 'chores.' So far my kids love helping out around the house and we want to keep them motivated to do so. We do them before and after breakfast, lunch and dinner. My 7yr old does breakfast and lunch dishes, feeds and waters the cat, cleans the downstairs 1/2 bathroom, get drinks for meals, cleans his bedroom, takes out the recycling and picks up toys. My 5yr old vacuums under the carpeted dining room table after meals, cleans the table, picks up toys, and cleans her bedroom. The 4yr old picks up toys, gets silverware for meals, cleans the table and cleans her bedroom. The 2yr old usually begs for a "Hepin Hadit" and he helps me pick up toys, too. I also include brushing teeth, getting dresses, washing hands and the like on their HH notecards. They have a ring with colored notecards on it labeled with their HH for that time of the day. The 4yr old has pictures and words on hers. I tell them before a meal to do their HH and they run off, read their card and get to work. The house is clean before every meal now. It's working for us. Let me know if you have any other questions. =)
